Schulz and the Sons of Ottenzamer in a spectacular performance! Wolfgang Schulz, principal flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform Haydn's works composed for the "Lilla Organizata" instrument, replacing it with the flute and oboe. The "Lilla Organizata" was a favorite instrument of King Ferdinand IV of Naples, who commissioned Haydn to compose for the instrument and dedicated the works on this album to him. The orchestration and the simple and lovely melodies, which are typical of Haydn's style, will bring you a moment of bliss. In addition, the two sons of Ernst Ottensamer perform together in Notturno (Disc-2, 3). The eldest son, Daniel, is currently the principal clarinetist of the Vienna Philharmonic, and his younger brother, Andreas, is the principal clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic.
