The katana sword is made of folded steel in Maru structure and come with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung.Fully hand forged,hand shaping,hand polishing in the most traditional sword making method.

The folded steel was result from1095 high carbon steel which were smelted and pounded to fold 14 times to creat 16000+ layers in a very completely different complex folding methord. Creating a obvious Feather-shaped texture. Layering the steel creats resilience (toughness)that makes each part of the blade more likely to bend,and spring back,but not broken.The obvious undulating texture on the balde was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging.

We applied a different thicknesses of clay to the edge and spine(back) of the blade respectively to control the rate at which the blades cools when quenching,turn into a harder edge and softer back.A beautiful real hamon was appeared on the blade(quenching and tempering).

The katana is a high quality Authentic handmade production. All its parts can be disassembled and reassembled.It is suitable for anyone who like swords,especially for collectors,practitioners and superior of iaido, kendo, battodo, kenjutsu and ninjutsu.perfect for decorations.
