Second Mozart concerto by Piemontage & Manze! Mozart piano concertos by Piemontage, Manze and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra; following the release of Nos. 25 and 26 (CKD544) in 2017, this second release combines Nos. 19 and 27 with Rondo for piano and orchestra. For Piemontage, No. 27 is repertoire that was well received at the 2018 BBC Proms. Riding on the clear-sounding, propulsive, and pleasantly musical delivery of Manze, who comes from the field of ancient instruments, Piemontage's lyrical piano sings with a stretch that makes for a superb Mozart performance.
