Riv-Nail R-2-18 is a rivet hinged belt fastener for belts 1/8" to 3/8" on pulleys 5"+, rated to 330 PIW. Top and bottom plates sandwich each belt end and are secured by a staggered pattern of self-setting Riv-Nails (semi-tubular rivets paired with pilot nails). The compression design does not rely entirely on belt fabric for pull-out resistance, making Riv-Nail the preferred mechanical splice on worn belts and high-strength synthetic carcasses.

• Matched set of top and bottom galvanized steel plates sized for 18" belt width
• Each plate has pre-pierced holes for 2 rivets per plate position

Rivets and hinge pin sold separately. Order R-2 size rivets (matching material) and a 1/4" steel cable hinge pin sized to your belt width to complete the splice.
