Riv-Nail RS-5-26 is a rivet hinged belt fastener for medium to heavy-duty belts. Top and bottom plates sandwich each belt end and are secured by a staggered pattern of self-setting Riv-Nails (semi-tubular rivets paired with pilot nails). The compression design does not rely entirely on belt fabric for pull-out resistance, making Riv-Nail the preferred mechanical splice on worn belts and high-strength synthetic carcasses.

Rivets and hinge pin sold separately. Order R-5 size rivets (matching material) and a 1/4" stainless cable hinge pin sized to your belt width to complete the splice.

Material: Non-magnetic 430 stainless is used for metal-detectable food lines and mildly corrosive environments.
