Number Facts and Fluency (Within 20)
Students develop strong number sense and computational fluency through systematic instruction in basic math facts. Using proven strategies, children build confidence with numbers up to 20, mastering addition and subtraction through hands-on activities and structured practice.

Geometric Foundations
The geometry unit introduces young learners to fundamental shape concepts through:

• Shape identification and classification
• Vocabulary development for geometric terms
• Exploration of how shapes can be combined and separated
• Analysis of basic geometric structures

Introduction to Fractions
Building on their understanding of shapes and parts, students begin their journey into fractions by:

• Recognizing whole objects and their parts
• Understanding the relationship between parts and wholes
• Visualizing how parts combine to create a complete whole
• Exploring basic fractional concepts through hands-on activities
